Publishing dates and pricing policy

Since the overall aim of INSROP is to provide international information on all aspects related to the Northern Sea Route; the results from INSROP will be published as widely as possible. INSROP publications will, therefore, be priced to cover printing and distribution costs only.

To provide INSROP sponsors with an incentive and to avoid to many free riders, INSROP can decide to delay the general publication of results for a period of time to allow the group of sponsors to draw whatever benefit they can from research results. The INSROP Secretariat will evaluate INSROP results in co-operation with the researchers to identify such publications and bring the matter to the attention of the Steering Committee of Sponsors for their decision on an appropriate elapse of time before general publication of papers and reports.
