Academic background
   Bachelor in Asian and African Studies, with an emphasis on Africa south of the Sahara and economics, at the University of Oslo (2005-2010).
   Exchange semester at Université Gaston Berger, Senegal, coursework in political science (spring 2009).
   One-year program in French language, politics and history, at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2007-2008).

Professional experience
   Internship at the Permanent Mission of Norway to the United Nations and other International Organizations in Geneva, human rights issues (autumn 2011).
   Seconded advisor to the Norwegian Presidency of the Convention on Cluster Munitions and UNDP BCPR, Geneva, (2012-2013).
