   UNDP China office, Energy and Environment Division (1995-97).
   UNIFEM, China (World Conference on Women (WCW)) (1994-95).

Main research interests
   China's climate change policy, bureacracy/institutions /actors and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM).
   Asia-Pacific Partnership on Clean Development and Climate (APP).
   China's energy and environment policy.
   China and the GEF; China and the UN global environmental conferences.
   Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in China.
   Dam-building and resettlement in China with special focus on the Three Gorges dam project.
