GeoDataset name: Russian administrative borders

This dataset is compiled by Winnfried Dallmann at the Norwegian Polar Institute as part of INSROP Project II.4.10. The state boundaries are transferred from the Digital Chart of the World. All other boundaries are manually added from the "Times Atlas of the World" (London 1992), in places corrected from the "Atlas SSSR" (Moskva, 1984).
