This report focuses on the climatology of environmental conditions affecting commercial navigation along the Northern Sea Route. Statistical characteristics (minimum, maximum, average and probability of occurrence) are presented for major meteorological and oceanographic parametres that can limit navigation in the Kara, Laptev, East Siberian and Chukchi Seas.
