Civil-Military Relations in the High North

This project addresses civil-military relations in the High North putting emphasis on search and rescue operations and oil spill preparedness. Climate change impacts in the Arctic such as a receding ice edge pave the way for a new socio-economic environment. This development will lead to a new set of challenges in civil-military relations. The analysis will identify possible challenges in this relation.
