Qatalum Biodiversity Assessment

This project is an assessment of the biodiversity values, particularly ornithological values, on the Qatalum building site in MIC, Messaid, Qatar. Here Hydro and Qatar Petroleum, through the Qatalum company, is building the worlds largest aluminium smelter. Part of the assignment is also to propose options for possible compensation to Qatar for biodiversity values lost because of this development.
