The conference focused on the regional impacts of the Russian war against Ukraine, exploring its influence on politics, economics, culture, and society in Central and Eastern Europe. It examined how countries in the region, sharing a communist past but now integrated into the EU and NATO, have adapted to the challenges of the war and their role in shaping European security. Discussions also included Ukraine's reconstruction, the war's origins, and its broader geopolitical implications, such as NATO and EU enlargement and security in the Baltic and Arctic regions.
