Over the course of two days, the conference will address topics such as Arctic cooperation, security challenges related to maritime law, and the increased military presence in the region. The event will gather some of the world's foremost experts on Arctic security, including prominent representatives from politics, academia, the military, and civil society.

Speakers include Norway's Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide, State Secretary from the Ministry of Defence Anne Marie Aanerud, Finland's State Secretary responsible for foreign and defense policy, the head of the U.S. Coast Guard in Alaska, and the head of Canada's defense in the Arctic. Additionally, representatives from various Indigenous organizations, NATO, the Norwegian Armed Forces, and the EU will participate, along with journalists from Norwegian and international media, and researchers from Canada, Denmark, India, Iceland, Finland, France, China, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The conference will emphasize panel discussions and conversations that illuminate the complex dynamics in the Arctic. The aim is to foster a current, research-based, and nuanced discussion on the mechanisms that contribute to both driving and mitigating conflicts in the region.
The conference serves as a forum for in-depth discussion and analysis of Arctic security challenges, contributing to a deeper understanding of the region's role in the global security landscape.
