Call for Early-Career Participants – Arctic Security Conference 2025
Join us in Oslo for the Arctic Security Conference 2025, and for exclusive early-career events beforehand.
Are you an early-career researcher (must hold a master’s degree) with a strong interest in Arctic affairs generally, and Arctic security specifically? We invite a limited number of early-career participants to take part in the Arctic Security Conference, taking place in Oslo on September 16-18, 2025.
Selected participants will have access to and be expected to attend:
- The main conference on September 18.
- A closed academic workshop on September 17.
- All open events on September 17 (more info will be available shortly here).
- An early career gathering at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute on September 16.
What we offer:
- Hotel accommodation in Oslo for up to 4 nights (September 15-19)
- Coverage of visa costs, if applicable
- A letter of invitation, should you need one for a visa or institutional purposes
Please note: Travel costs (flights, etc.) must be covered by the participant or their home institution.
