Siddharth Sareen, research professor at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, has received the American Energy Society’s Award for Best Edited Book for Geographies of Solar Energy Transitions (UCL Press). The book explores the evolving governance of solar energy, addressing conflicts in diverse settings, balancing regulations and market-driven approaches.

The award recognizes contributions to energy and sustainability, with Sareen’s work highlighted for its clarity and relevance. Specific chapters, such as "Beyond Power" by Karla Cedeño and Ana G. Rincón-Rubio, and "Governing Solar Supply Chains" by Dustin Mulvaney, received particular praise.
