Have Norwegian-Russian relations reached a low point since the fall of the Soviet Union? And how do we approach an increasingly authoritarian Russian regime?
This was the subject for discussion when Senior Research Fellow Lars Rowe at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute and other experts on Russian affairs gathered for a debate in Tromsø last week.
Historian Kari Aga Myklebost at the University of Tromsø and reporter Amund Trellevik of the Barents Press Norge were also key speakers at the debate, which was hosted by the podcast Du Verden, “Internasjonalt seminar”, the United Nations Association of Norway and the UN student association in Tromsø. The debate will result in a podcast episode to be released by Du Verden shortly.
