GREENMIX consists of two closely inter-related activities: a research component focused on multi-scalar green growth policy mixes, and an educational component focused on green growth capacity building for Nordic practitioners and policymakers.
GREENMIX’s research component consists of four related tasks, which jointly result in an analysis of multi-scalar policy mixes for green growth (synthesising insights; from policy formulation to policy implementation; from policy implementation via experiences to policy formulation; competencies for green growth). Empirically, we examine climate and energy policies. A low-carbon transition is a key Nordic policy objective and closely connected to industrial development in all Nordic countries.
In terms of methodologies, we will use qualitative case study and comparative methods, especially semi-structured interviews, comparative policy analysis and qualitative content analysis combined with our existing data.
