The project’s objectives are:

• To carry out a series of studies on Russian policies in the Black Sea region and in the Arctic, drawing comparisons and discussing similarities and differences;
• Train – through PhDs and PostDocs – students at the University of Bucharest for the study of Russia’s policy in the Black Sea region;
• Establish a Center for Russian Studies at the University of Bucharest.
