My core area of research is international environmental governance and law with a specific emphasis on biodiversity, protection of the marine environment and law of the sea and the Arctic. Before entering academia, I have 20 years of experience as a lead negotiator in international environmental negotiations for my native country Denmark and for the EU during Danish EU presidencies.
