RESEARCH INTERESTS

My current research focuses on seabed mining and the development of legal frameworks internationally, i.e. the high seas, and nationally. I am particularly interested in how different stakeholders help drive and shape the policy processes at these two levels, and the extent to which they influence law-making outcomes.

PhD dissertation: Between international and national regimes: Developing legal frameworks for a new resource frontier
