Russia's invasion of Ukraine changes the security policy landscape in the Arctic, and more specifically, the High North. Interest in the Arctic among journalists, researchers and politicians will increase in the future. At the same time, the danger of conflict in the Arctic is repeated and exaggerated, and different dynamics and issues are often mixed up.

The goal of this project is to contribute to a more enlightened and knowledgeable debate about the security and geopolitical conditions in the Arctic, especially with regard to the Norwegian High North.

Project Period: 2023-2026
